The volunteer members of the Portland chapter of SCORE would like you to know more about the Portland chapter and how we can help you meet your business goals.
Have you ever wished you had a mentor, someone you can trust, someone who knows business from the inside out, someone who can provide direction? Starting or expanding a small business can be overwhelming. In many cases you may think of it as a gamble, you don't know which way to turn. SCORE can help take some of the mystery out of starting your own business. We can provide direction, help you get started down the path of success and help you take control of your career in business.
Through in-depth counseling and training, SCORE volunteers help prospective and established small business owners and managers identify problems, determine the causes, and find solutions.
The Portland chapter of SCORE is part of the
national SCORE organization that works in
partnership with the U. S. Small Business
Administration (SBA) to provide professional
guidance and information to small business owners.
